Just got back from a weekend in Wroclaw (pronounced Roslov) and had a really cool time.
Having a guide on the first night worked well as we got into all the right places without any hassle.
The only thing that almost spoilt the weekend was that the shooting was cancelled .... however luckily we managed to rearrange elsewhere
Really good service and my mates all said it made it the best stag weekend they\'d been on !
Thank you very much for a great weekend in Wroclaw. I had already been on a stag party in Budapest with Pissup 2 years ago so I was confident that this one would be just as good. I wasn\'t disappointed.
Our guide Kasia was amazing. She always kept in touch with me during the weekend, helped out with last minute requests, had great local knowledge of bars/clubs and was generally the perfect guide.
I\'m best man at another wedding next year and I will definitely be using Pissup for planning the stag party in Krakow!
I cannot fault the service provided by \'Pissup\', they were very professional and available to help whenever needed. Pre-booking the airport transfers meant there was no hassle when we landed and we could get straight to the apartment. The stripper was amazing, just what we needed to get the night started; \'love those bumps in the road\'! If you also provide a beer or shot then you will have the ultimate stag airport transfer.
Special thanks to Kasia for her help and advice, it was good to have a local contact.
Our guide was on time and very helpful. All the lads were a bit unsure about the casino, but soon got right into it and we won enough to pay for the weekend! Strip club had super lovely girls. All in all a cracking weekend.
Had a great time in Wroclaw, we were extremely well looked after by Kate and can recommend it to anyone who wants to go to a good city with cheap beer and plenty of pubs!

Nightlife activities for your stag party in Wroclaw
Regardless of the type of stag party you are, nightlife will be a key component of your weekend in Wroclaw. Here are the best recommendations for an unforgettable stag party.
Our Wroclaw bar suggestions
In a city where a good chunk of the population is university students, you can bet there are some cracking bars in Wroclaw. Let's show you some of the ones we recommend for a good time.
Pub Felicità
Secure a table in Pub Felicità's stylish beer garden. This Italian sports bar is a fantastic spot for a couple of beers while watching the footie. Multiple TVs cover the walls, and there's one plasma screen in the beer garden when the sun shines. Be aware that if there's a big game on, you'll want to get down there early because seats get taken fast.
AleBrowar
If you're into your craft beers, head over to Alebrowar; it's the only craft brewery on the planet that doesn't filter their brews. They've got up to 13 uniquely brewed beers on tap here and some cool seating areas to sip them in, from the vast basement to the front garden. If you need help deciding which brew to choose, one of the experts behind the bar will help you pick based on your tastes.
Przedwojenna
Przedwojenna is a central bar with very affordable beers. The atmosphere here is like you'd find in your local back home: no frills, some menu items written on the walls, and a focus on human connection and good vibes.
Szklarnia Cocktail Bar
There are plenty of cocktail bars in Wroclaw, but you won't find one with a setting like Szklarnia; it's located in a full-sized greenhouse and serves tasty drinks. One of our favourites is the Mallow.
Best Districts in Wroclaw for your nightlife
Wroclaw has a fantastic nightlife scene; the Old Town, also known as Stare Miasto, tends to be the place it's all centred around. Besides the Old Town, there's a sub-district a short walk from there called the Four Temple District, which is also really fun to go out in.
The Old Town (Stare Miasto)
Wroclaw's Old Town is the central tourist hub in the city; it's the hub of all activity, including nightlife, with tonnes of bars, restaurants, and clubs open all through the night for you to enjoy. Since it's more central, you're bound to pay slightly more than the average for drinks here, but because Wroclaw isn't as touristy as other Polish cities, it's very affordable.
For cocktails, Papa Bar is the place to be, Kawiarnia Bar is a funky speakeasy everyone loves, and to dance, Antidotum is always a good time.
The Four Temple District
The Four Temple District in Wroclaw always has a good vibe; there are plenty of bars and clubs to tackle whenever you've had enough of the central part of the Old Town. If you venture this far, catch some live music at Niebo Café & Pub and see how many beers you can tick off the menu at Szynkarnia; we bet you won't stand a chance.
Best clubs to enjoy your stag party in Wroclaw
At a bachelor party, pubs will only get you so far before you want to take things to the next level at the nightclub. These are our preferred choices:
X-Demon Night Club
X-Demon is a cutting-edge club with 1800 square meters of space for you and the boys to dance your socks off. It's always a good time here; they've got two VIP areas for bachelor parties to reserve, and they offer a free bottle with some of their packages.
Antidotium
In the underground of Wrocław Market Square hides one of the city's top clubs, Antidotium. It features two dance floors and two fully loaded bars with many well-known international branded drinks and local specialties. Keep your eyes peeled for the events they host on different days of the week; you could be lucky enough to be there when hosting something special.
Mad Dog
Looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful to venture to at the end of the night with some good music? Mad Dog is always a reliable choice; it's located just outside the Old Town, so you can easily walk there without going too far. On some nights, they even hand out drink tokens, so keep your eyes peeled.
Cultural and chill activities for your stag weekend in Wroclaw
Wroclaw is a wonderful city with much to do besides sitting in a bar all weekend. During your downtime, you should try to get out and about and tick off a few of the main attractions, such as:
Go Hunting for Some of the Dwarves Around the City
You'll notice when you're walking around Wroclaw that there are around 60 random dwarves scattered throughout the city.
These dwarves began popping up in the form of graffiti around the 1980s during a city protest against Communism called the Orange Alternative. The idea was to create a silent protest against the region, as the protestors knew it would be ridiculous if someone were to be imprisoned for painting dwarves on the ground. It was eventually in 2001 when the first statue of a dwarf popped up, and then they began to spread like wildfire.
Today, you can spot many dwarves without even trying that hard, but some tourists like to go dwarf hunting to see how many they can locate.
Catch a View of the City From the Penitent Bridge
Seeing Wrocław from above the Penitent Bridge is unlike anything else. Pull yourselves out of bed in the morning and take on this little climb to the top of the city between the towers of Mary Magdalene Church. You've to take the two 200 steps to reach the top, but once you get up there, you'll be blown away by the views.
ZOO Wroclaw
Go and see over 12,000 animals at the ZOO Wroclaw. There are over 1000 species living here, with different types of creatures from various parts of the world, including African hunting dogs and other species from parts of South America and Europe. You'll find many restaurants and coffee places if you get hungry there.
Get Your Photo Taken at the Train to the Sky
Do you know those bizarre landmarks that every city has? Well, the Train to the Sky is Wroclaw's. This almost 70-meter-high freestanding Ty2 steam locomotive train is planted on a random patch of grass, pointing directly up to the sky (hence its name).
You can easily walk there within 25 minutes from the centre, just remember your camera because you'll never see anything like it again.
Tips to get around Wroclaw
You'll find navigating Wroclaw easier by following this section of our guide, which includes all the key details you need to survive during your time here.
Currency
Poland is one of the few countries in the European Union that has held on to their currency, the (PLN) Polish złoty. Over the years, Wroclaw has developed rapidly; you can use contactless card payments in most establishments. But there's no harm in having cash with you in case you need it.
Keep an eye out for the ATMs you're using in Wroclaw. You'll spot a few Euronet ATMs around the city but try to use them sparingly as they charge the highest withdrawal fees. It is better to bring currency from your home country and exchange it when you arrive, as it is cheaper.
Language
Polish is the primary language spoken in Wroclaw, but many people speak some English in the city since many younger generations attend university here. Pissup works with both English and Polish-speaking guides, so regardless of the activities you book through our company, we'll make sure to assign a guide to your group that speaks your native language.
Wroclaw's Public transports
Across the whole city, more than 20 daily trams are operating between 4 am and 12 am. The same procedure applies to any of the 50 bus lines in operation; they run simultaneously as the trams.
Consider hiring one of the city bikes to see more of Wroclaw quickly. The service is called 'Nextbike,' you don't have to pay anything for the first 20 minutes; after that, you'll be charged a small fee for using them.
Wroclaw Taxis
Taking a cab is sometimes more manageable, especially with a large stag party. Regardless of where you are in Wroclaw, you can find a cab to take you to your desired destination, or apps like Uber and Bolt are also available there.
Other tips
- Bring mosquito spray on your trip if you don't want to get bitten. Since Wroclaw is by the river, these annoying little creatures are always around during hot weather.
- Ensure everyone in your group has service on their phone if something happens to you on a night out. If your data plan doesn't cover you for Poland, consider buying a tourist sim card; they're usually very cheap and don't require much effort to set up.
- If someone offers you a 'free' rose, don't take it. Often, they'll try to force you to pay them money, and if you don't, they'll start to argue with you.
Our guide to organizing the epic stag do in Wroclaw
We've got some more tips you can use to organize your stag weekend in Wroclaw. It's a little less stressful, so keep reading!
Is Wroclaw safe for a stag do?
Wroclaw is a very safe city; the crime rates are low, and you'll see police keeping order in the streets wherever you go. However, as you know, no place is 100% safe.
Don't pay the 'pretty ladies' in Market Square any attention when they lure you into the clubs. There have been stories where men have been forced to pay thousands of Polish złoty for one drink and weren't allowed to leave unless they paid.
What are the best times of year to organize a stag do in Wroclaw?
The right time for your stag do in Wroclaw may not be suitable for someone else; you need to consider your availability, budget, and the weather to find the right option.
- Summer is the high season in Wroclaw; the weather is nice, it's usually in the high 20s, but most people take their holidays around then, so our activities sell up fast, which means you'll need to book far in advance.
- If you want to head off on your lad's holiday in winter, you better prepare for snowy conditions. You may even battle for accommodation because many people come to the Christmas markets.
- Consider planning your visit to Wroclaw during the shoulder seasons (March to May and September to November) if you can get time off work. These are the months when we have the best deals on activities, flights tend to be cheaper, and hotel prices are low since demand isn't high.
What activities do you recommend in Wroclaw if it rains during the stag do?
Wroclaw has a handful of escape rooms we can take your group to; they'll get your brains working together and foster that team spirit you need to pull each other through the rough weekend you're on.
What are the best places to stay at Wroclaw?
While the Old Town would be a prominent base for many coming to Wroclaw, accommodation prices here tend to be more on the expensive end of the spectrum. Additionally, it's pretty busy late at night, which can bring added unwanted noise when you're trying to catch them much-needed Z's after a night out.
Some of the areas on the outskirts of the Old Town may be better suited for you, like Kępa Mieszczańska, Bulwar Staromiejski, Przedmieście Świdnickie, Juliusz Słowacki Park, or the Four Temple District if you want to be close to some nightlife.
How do I get cheap prices for my stag weekend in Wroclaw far in advance?
Generally, our customers get the cheapest deals for their stag do in Wroclaw when they book activities far in advance. We recommend booking a couple of months in advance to have the best prices and ensure your favourite activities are available.
Once you know the rough dates for when you want to come to Wroclaw, we suggest you contact us immediately so we can lock in your plans.
Please contact us directly if you have any questions about our Wroclaw packages.
What budget per person should be planned for a stag do in Wroclaw?
Wroclaw is a cheap stag do destination, but like anywhere, you should set a daily spending limit to avoid getting too carried away with things. Depending on your activities, you could get away with spending around PLN 253.84 (£50) per day after you've paid for your hotel room and any activities booked through Pissup.
However, if you plan to do more activities, especially nightlife-related activities, plan a 75-£100 budget.
