Humanitarian support for Ukraine

Pissup Tours are supporting humanitarian actions to help Ukraine and Ukrainians in need. We are all deeply affected by the situation, as many of our staff members are Ukrainians themselves or have family members or friends who are. We also operate from several countries that share a border with Ukraine. We are very concerned and want to provide as much help as we can.

All staff working with Pissup have been allowed as much time off as they need in order to help, whether it is directly assisting family and friends or doing volunteer work.

Besides this, we are also doing the following:

Active assistance:

We try to actively seek out any Ukrainians in need. If you are in need of assistance, please contact us at [email protected]. We can provide the following:

• Safe private transport from a border crossing to Czechia, Poland, Hungary or even to Denmark.
• Housing
• Food
• Clothes We will utilize our network across Europe to provide you with the help you need.

Donations:

We also donate cash to charities seeking to help the humanitarian catastrophe that is unfolding here in Europe. Our options here are unfortunately very limited, since we are still struggling to recover after 2 years of Covid-19 where we lost 80 % of our income. We are still paying back on our Corona-debt and will be for years to come - but this war is more important and we will therefore help as much as we can.

We have therefore committed to donate 1 % of our profits to Humanitarian organizations supporting Ukrainians, and have so far donated to Preserve Ukraine (“Bevar Ukraine”): https://bevarukraine.dk/da/

So far we have donated: 14,000 DKK, equivalent to roughly 1,880 EUR.

The above list will update later when we are able to provide further support.

What can you do?

If you wish to support the Humanitarian work being done, we encourage you to actively assist in helping, by providing your offer for support - offering to come pick up refugees and help them get somewhere safe, maybe even let them stay in a spare room for some days. We also suggest you find charities that fit what you want to support and donate what you can.

Finally, if you do end up booking a trip with Pissup if you were planning a stag do anyway, know that some of the profit here will go towards helping Ukraine. But don’t book an event with us just for this reason, we prefer you support the humanitarian cause directly instead.
