It's all well and good being able to drink a beer, but pulling one for yourself is a whole other ball game. Our beer tapping course in the Czech capital will teach you all there is to know about the art of pour a decent pint for yourselves.

This experience blends the history of beer and the skills of pouring one into one activity. You'll get a tour of one of the city's top microbreweries, have the chance to try some beers of your own and finally learn how to pull one. If you succeed, we'll even give you a commemorative bottle to remember the experience.

What To Expect

Your beer tapping course will take place at a microbrewery in Prague's city centre. We'll send one of our local guides to your hotel on the day to take you to there.

The tapping course will be broken down into three stages. The first will be a tour of the brewery, you'll get some insight into the company's brewing process, their history and how they've exploded on to the Czech brewing scene over the years. Your guide will be by your side the whole time telling you some interesting facts about the brewery and can answer any questions you might have.

Next is a beer tasting where you'll get to sample some brews, including unique beer brandy "Pivovice" and a degustation of semidark Oldgott beer. In total, you'll get two beer samples each and one Pivovice each.

Finally, it's the main event. You will have the chance to properly tap and bottle a Blondgott Beer. If you manage to get all the liquid in the bottle, you'll be free to drink it afterwards.

As a massive thank you from the brewery, they'll give you a commemorative bottle to remember them.

For a final touch, there will be some traditional Czech pretzels for your group to complement your beers. A proper Prague combination!

What You Should Know Before Booking This Activity

• We understand that not everyone's accommodation is located in the city centre, so if it suits you better, you can meet your guide somewhere in the city centre.
• Our tapping courses are limited to 15 people.
• This experience is available to people even if they don't drink alcohol. It's very informative, even for those who aren't fond of a pint or two.
• Please avoid showing up drunk.
