Time spent in Prague should be all about beer, and our beer degustation is the perfect way to dip your toes in the country's brewing culture.

Pissup's beer degustation will give you and the lads to chance to try the liquid gold in all kinds of ways, from pork steak with beer and bacon gravy to a beer infused chocolate cake. Obviously, there will be some proper local brew samples thrown in there, too.

The beer degustation won't be taking place at just any old bar in the city centre, you'll be trying the samples straight from the U Medvídků microbrewery, one of Prague's best kept secrets.

What To Expect

Before the activity date, we'll arrange a time to meet your local guide in the city centre of Prague. As long as your hotel is centrally located, they'll meet you there. Alternatively, you can meet at a location that suits both of you somewhere in the city.

To welcome you at the brewery, you'll all get to try pivovice, a super strong shot made with local beer; double the trouble! After that will come some pickled cheese variations with some beer-based snacks like beer pretzels.

Next up will be some beer, Blondgott; it's one of the brewery's light lagers, which they brew on-site; we know you're going to love the taste of it.

With the Blondgott will come your main course, which will be a pork steak with confit potatoes, with strong gravy from beer and bacon. We weren't lying when we said everything was beer made!

Once you've eaten and finished up your Blondgott, it's dessert time which includes another beer called Oldgott, it's a semi dark speciality that every beer enthusiast raves about. Everyone will also be served a beer chocolate cake topped off with whipped cream and orange.

Hey, hold your horses now; there's one more beer to try, and it's going to be the strongest of them all, the XBEER-33, known as the strongest beer to be brewed in all of the Czech Republic.

If you fancy it, you can stay in the brewery afterwards and continue drinking at your own expense or join one of our other tours, like a bar crawl with a bar tab included.
