Dragon Boats in Prague – get your heart racing, and enjoy some serious team spirit!

During the paddling session you will learn about the composition of a dragon boat crew, the paddling technique, and also how to synchronise their paddling. The boat will go along the Vltava river to selected destination and back!

You will learn the right tempo and rhythm of the crew. And finally you will have practice a real dragon boat race at a selected distance.

How it Works

Your guide will meet you at an agreed spot (e.g. hotel), and will make sure your group is ready for the departure. You will be taken via private transport to the centre of Prague, where the dragon boats are located.

After arriving, tour group receives instructions from the drummer and steerman (max. 30 minutes). You will sign a disclaimer and agreement that you understand and accept the safety rules, and also a declaration that you can or can’t swim. You will get life vests, which are obligatory for non-swimmers (included in the price).

Then you will enjoy 60 minutes of paddling in the dragon boat. The drummer and steerman as instructors will be on the boat with the group. According the wishes your group the session can be focused more on sightseeing or more on racing.

After you are done with paddling, you will get one drink for every person, and after that the guide will collect you and take you via private transport back to the hotel.

Please note – You are advised to arrive in sportswear, have towels, etc. Groups up to 20 people board always only one dragon boat.
